Jaye Container Terminal, Sri Lanka Ports Authority, Port Of Colombo

My main responsibilities in the Jaye Container Terminal in Port of Colombo, Sri Lanka as follows;1. Effective planning and analyzing in generating stowage plans through NAVIS SPARCS & EXPRESS for container vessels calling Jaye Container Terminal while achieving the expected target rates of the KPIs declared for the vessel/yard/gate operation.2. Managing, supervising, coordinating, and leading the vessel operation, yard planning and equipment control as a Duty Officer/Duty Planner in 24 hour roster work where more than 600 blue collar employees are managed productively.3. Effectively liaise and maintain strong relationship with the ship agents, freight forwarders and all other customers in delivering the services expected with high quality and minimum time to uphold higher customer satisfaction.4. Act as the Liner Shipping Coordinator for the MSC Shipping Line and fruitfully offer the services expected exclusively by the Shipping Line while successfully interacting with the top management.5. Taking strategic and quick decisions to manage the vessel and yard operation to minimize the operational cost and non-operational gaps in order to generate higher revenue and customer satisfaction to the port of Colombo.6. Maintaining and upgrading the security and safety protocols matched with international standards while ensuring the protection of people and machinery in port premises.
