Rafiki Coalition is a nonprofit community-based organization that provides accessible health and wellness services to the BIPOC people of the San Francisco Bayview community.Coordinate accessible wellness programs for youth and community members by developing outreach strategies that include sourcing local practitioners, handling all onboarding, creating content, and developing comprehensive schedules and curricula for each program. Additionally, I work cross-functionally with our health navigation and complementary alternative medicine team by facilitating strategic planning meetings that leverage new systems for our community and partner programs. Curated and lead the Opportunities for All summer internship of 10+ interns who learned about holistic and alternative health professions, engaged in various wellness practices, and identified and researched the career/academic path that most interests them. Additionally, I facilitated weekly introductory workshops on creative wellness practices such as journaling, collaging, movement, doodling, sound healing, and more. Therapists are trauma-informed and offer wellness groups in the maintenance of the client's journeys. I performed detailed analysis and documentation of client insurance requirements to pair clients with licensed therapists by managing the logistics of strategically scheduling consultation calls.Scheduled and lead in-person Q&As with leading health and trauma experts, prospective interns, and wellness practitioners for 3 major projects resulting in a 10% retention increase and data-driven feedback using Survey Monkey and Qualtrics.Scheduled and lead meetings with partners and cross-functionally to discuss the logistics for analyzing quantitative data collected over the research term's span.

Collaborated with coworkers to curate discussion topics to lead a sequential daily group discussion among the women’s and adolescent unit. Developed a strategic plan to tackle the following topics; overcoming negative self-talk, identifying limiting beliefs, building self-esteem, maintaining a hygienic routine, mental health, and creative expression. This resulted in a 30% increase in attendance and participation. Developed treatment plan for up to 25 patients each month, resulting in a 20% increase of successful discharges.

- Lead 12 high school students in the Youth Action Council to conceptualize an event for the Global Youth Service Day GYSD from March 2017 - May 2017. The idea created a space to support local organizations that advocate for students affected by the school to prison pipeline.- Maintained correspondence among the local organizations, Hands-On Atlanta and Forever Family Social Services Organization, students, and student advisors. My team and I provided 100+ care kits to the families of Forever Family by May.

- Hired, supervised, and provided day-to-day mentoring for a team of 28 on team performance and metrics, program operations ensuring team members and interns perform in-line with the program standards. - Developed the environmental advocacy communication strategy, which was implemented in the daily tours and shared among the external affairs team reaching many NGOs and community-based organizations, which resulted in a 50% increase in partnerships. - Spearheaded and implemented an environmental justice advocacy strategic plan by creating tour manuals for the LEED Platinum building, conducting training on environmental justice, advocacy, and academics, and delegating summer tasks for each intern and lead. Modernized the touring process at SFPUC by implementing surveys and feedback among community organizations and interns. - Conceptualized the academic segment of the summer internship to guide interns to visualize their academic and professional future.
