Customer Success Manager; Coding InstructorTechsmart Oct 2021 - PresentAs a customer success manager with TechSmart, I provide strategic support to district customers that use the TechSmart platform and curriculum, collaborating with regional and local school leaders to increase student success on our platform. In collaborating with these districts, I manage multiple projects with various districts to continually improve outcomes. I also utilize a Salesforce and Airtable integration to efficiently manage accounts and conduct regular check-ins via email and Zoom.Throughout the year, I facilitate professional learning boot camps via Zoom for customers who use the TechSmart Python coding curriculum. I also promptly resolve customer support tickets and emails using Zendesk. I also use Zendesk to create help center articles on a variety of topics our teachers, districts, and students request. In my time at TechSmart, I have also introduced my team and the company at large to various tools to make our processes more streamlined. The first tool I introduced was Airtable. We now use Airtable as a means to track customers, distribute tasks, and for project planning. I now use a Salesforce and Airtable integration to manage accounts throughout the year. This integration helps me to figure out when to hold check-ins with teachers and their districts. Next, I introduced Arcade. Arcade is a software used to create interactive website demos. I introduced Arcade so we could streamline our demo process and increase the effectiveness of how we train customers to use our platform. I also created a new process for how we do email campaigns with customers, which increased readership from ~30% to ~80%. -
Computer Science TeacherTulsa School Of Arts And Sciences Jun 2021 - Oct 2021Tulsa, Oklahoma, United StatesI taught multiple computer science courses to the high school students at Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences. In these courses, students learned Python and Swift. My students who learned Swift utilized a curriculum I fleshed out that culminated with them learning iOS app design. It was also important to me that my students, regardless of which of my classes they were in, learned the term digital literacy and how to manage their online presence. We talked about the importance of not falling victim to scams online and how to educate their family members on scams. -
8Th Grade Science TeacherTulsa School Of Arts And Sciences Aug 2018 - May 2021Tulsa, OklahomaI was a full-time teacher instructing in 8th grade science in classrooms up to 20 students. I established rapport with students, parents and critical family members. I created a welcoming environment in which all students were free to express themselves. During the 2018-2019 school year, I was the head coach of the middle school's First Tech Challenge Robotics team during its rookie year.As a teacher at TSAS, I was able to grade my students using a standards based grading method. This allowed me to fully track my students' progress toward understanding all of our standards. I would keep data on each of my students and I would ask students to chart their own mastery of standards as well. This would allow for authentic conversations about what concepts a student may have been misunderstanding. This also allowed for me to crate transparency on exams as students knew exactly which standard(s) each question on an exam covered. Standards based grading opened me up to a world of tracking student data that I genuinely enjoyed and it allowed me to build out a curriculum that was aligned to both my state's standards and the NGSS.Starting in the Spring of 2020, with the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, I switched to a fully remote teaching environment. During this time, I have had to create innovative ways to make material accessible to all students. This involves me implementing new tools and creating ways to remotely explain how to use the tools both in and outside of my classroom environment. -

At the end of each two week camps, scholars create a tangible website or mobile application using the knowledge they learned during camp.During the summer of 2020, the Kode With Klossy camps were 100% virtual, so I did my normal camp duties remotely via zoom. During this time, we utilized zoom and slack (as per usual with camp) to effectively communicate with scholars and provide instruction.Starting in March of 2021, I became a Senior Instructor for mobile app development at Kode With Klossy.
