• Responsible for testing the product Gateway on a Chip (GoC) for the following. Core protocols – DHCP, DNS Security protocols – VPN, Firewall Packet Filtering, Network Address Translation, Remote Access, Rate Limiting, IP Reassembly, URL Filtering, Application Level Gateways Voice Protocols – H323, SIP• Responsible for setting up test beds to execute system testing and carry out end-to-end test. Measuring the performance of the system using smart bits. • Interoperability testing with other products like Cisco, Netgear, Netscreen and Draytek.• Responsible for writing Test-plans for the above features. Test-plan includes test cases for sanity tests, functionality tests, negative tests, system tests, and stress test and regression tests. Experience in providing Acceptance test-plan when new features are being developed.• Responsible for executing regression suite for core module, firewall module and vpn module to test the product.• Developing new automated scriptsIn Perl for new features.• Responsible to implement a wizard that will guide the user to quickly setup the Gateway. The wizard will guide the user to configure the LAN, WAN, DHCP, DNS, Wireless, Voice-H323, SIP and MGCP. The web pages are developed in Html and are integrated to the product using ASP. The handlers for ASP are developed in C.
