Delivered a speech about the intersection between intimate partner violence (IPV) and gun violence at this rally. Planned MFOL's first ever lobby day in California at the State Capitol in Sacramento on August 28, 2023. Lobbied/advocated for the senate to pass AB28, which would impose a modest excise tax on all firearm/firearm-related sales, where the collected revenue would be directed toward violence prevention programs. Speaker at Children Now’s 2023 Youth Leadership Summit, presenting on the five key forces of GV and the ways that MFOL has fought and continues to fight against the epidemic.

Assisting on the University of Washington's research project which assesses the impact and implementation of state laws for adolescent intimate partner violence (IPV). The study aims to evaluate how effective state laws regarding IPV are in terms of preventing or reducing violence, evaluate the implementation of such laws in school districts, improve knowledge of barriers to IPV policy implementation, and test/develop a toolkit for school districts to improve/implement such policy.
