SERVCES: RESEARCH, PRO-BONO CONSULTING, CO2 CAPTURE, AND PERMANENT STORAGE IN WASTE INCINERATION ASH AND ECO-CONCRETE MADE FROM MSW INCINERATION ASH, WASTE SUSTAINABILITY, SUSTAINABLE CO2 STORAGE.The Waste to Power sector operates reliably and steadily, generating large amounts of electricity while diverting millions of tons of garbage from landfills and preventing the release of millions of tons of methane gas. However, waste incineration also generates an average of 1.2 tons of CO2 per ton of waste incinerated. In the US alone, the Waste to Power sector is responsible for releasing 41.4 million tons of CO2 into the atmosphere every year, which accounts for 7.8% of the total amount of CO2 released annually.Furthermore, the waste incineration process generates ash, and there are over 1,800 Waste to Power plants worldwide. In countries such as the US, Canada, Singapore, and Japan, ash is typically disposed of in landfills. In Europe, only the ash that meets environmental regulations is recycled. The amount of ash generated ranges from 15-25% (by weight) and from 5-15% (by volume) of the MSW incinerated.Since 2010, we have been researching and developing a unique technology that can transform all types of waste ash (fly ash + bottom ash) coming from different waste streams (Hazardous Waste, Municipal Solid Waste, Military Waste, Industrial Waste) into eco-concrete while preventing the ash from reaching landfills. This contributes to a circular economy and makes waste sustainable. The CO2 generated during the waste incineration process can be captured at the source and stored in the ash and eco-concrete made with the ash, ensuring permanent CO2 storage and making waste and CO2 sustainable and economically viable. Our ambitious initiative aims to transform the Waste to Energy sector into a carbon-neutral or carbon-negative sector that does not generate any residual waste, making waste and CO2 sustainable. To learn more about our work, please visit http://ashcretech.com/.Also, please feel free to watch our video at https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=o4FgS6dMvwE.

Zero Ash In Landfills Initiative Research LeaderAshcrete Technologies Jan 2021 - PresentCanadaWaste incineration generates millions of tons of ash which are disposed off in landfills, we developed the technology to transform "Ash" into true ecoconcretes or true green concretes.

Research Leader And CeoAshcrete Technologies Feb 2010 - PresentChinaSince 2010 we have been intensely researching "self financed" the best solution to the Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Ash and other ash types Dilemma. We developed the technology to make precast concretes with all the Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Ash bounding and encapsulating all the elements present in the ash at nano levels in a solid matrix that minimizes mobilization to the surrounding environment while yielding a beneficial use.
