Hi everyone! My name is Ashley Cruz and I am currently a rising senior at URI majoring in Communicative Disorders with a double minor in Thanatology and Gender Women Studies. My goal is to become a speech pathologist in the next few years. For the past few years, I have been working with children from the ages of 1 month up to 14 years old. I currently work as a TA at a daycare. I have gotten the opportunity to have an observation internship where I have been observing Speech Language Pathologist in a public school setting. I will also have the opportunity to work in a clinical research fellowship at URI in the upcoming academic year. My plan is to continue my study and go to graduate school so that I can get my license of practice.
