About Avi Shemtov

I love to cook, teach, create and function as part of a team. I am the founder and managing partner of The Shemtov Group, which includes Chubby Chickpea Mobile, LLC, Simcha Restaurant LLC, TAPPED beer trucks llc, Hummus v’Hummus, Lobster Proper, and Arabe. I am also the proud author of 'The Single Guy Cookbook (Page Street, 2015) and The Simcha cookbook (Cider Mill, 2021). Most importantly I am a father of 2 young children.
