Making ML for IoT easier though a time-series DSL that succinctly captures feature engineering, model lifecycles, and alerting.

Co-founded BigML (an ML as a service company) with the goal of making machine learning tools more accessible.Implemented and coordinated the rollout of a suite of supervised and unsupervised ML techniques with an eye toward scalability and robustness to messy data and led applied ML projects for customers.

Developed a variety of projects for Strands including financial product recommendations, credit card transaction classification, natural language processing for parsing workout logs, race-time predictions, and fast real-time clustering for GPS route data (cycling & running).

Built a framework for dynamic Bayesian networks (a type of statistical relational learning) as part of CleverSet's core technology and helped transition the technology for use in e-commerce product recommendations. Collaborated with the Air Force Research Labs to build an automated threat detection system for satellites using telemetry data.

Implemented classic and novel machine learning algorithms with Prof. Tom Dietterich, primarily focused on sequential supervised learning and conditional random fields.

Built automated test suites for oscilloscope firmware.
