Finding interconnections within our creative network as well as within the neighbourhoods of our projects is how we seek to realize a project’s true potential. We believe no person or project exists in isolation – caring about a place requires acknowledging and leveraging dependencies on the bigger community.What motivates us:• working with grass roots community groups to address fundamental needs within our neighbourhood and city• designing simply with a high attention to detail• using our skills to improve quality of life• translating the passion and vision of our clients into a physical realityTracey Mactavish and Asher deGroot worked together for 3 ½ years at one of the most respected architectural practices within Vancouver – designing, developing and managing the North Vancouver City Hall renovation and addition – a complex, and multi-faceted architectural project that has been recognized with a Lieutenant Governor Award and with a Governor General’s Award for design excellence. Together they bring more than three decades of experience to this new venture with MOTIV ARCHITECTS INC.
