Working as part of the Global Support Team, supporting Alltech's users in our offices globally. This role was split between technical and application support for both hardware and software including:- Software installation and troubleshooting in Microsoft Office applications and other software- Setup, configuration and maintenance of user accounts in Azure AD- Software support for Microsoft AX2012, Microsoft PowerBI and some legacy ERP systems- Hardware setup, troubleshooting, maintenance and purchasingDuring my time in this position I also took on the role of technical project manager for the implementation of Jira Service Desk for a 40+ support team and 4,000+ end users. I was responsible for stakeholder engagement, managing the project, training users, designing and configuring the application and rollout to end users.

Working closely with the network manager of an all girls’ school with over 700 students and 70 members of staff. Working with both the staff and students on a daily basis on the phone, via e-mail and face-to-face with the aid of Helpdesk software.Supporting a variety of specialist software such as SIMS and Promethean ActivStudio. Administering a network of over 350 desktops PCs, 200 laptops, 40 interactive whiteboards, 30 printers and 9 IBM servers running both Server 2003 and 200 Creating and editing user accounts and profiles on an Active Directory domain network.Installing, maintaining and repairing both hardware and software including Windows XP, Windows 7, Office 2003 and Office 2007. Maintaining the school’s website, intranet and Virtual Learning Environment.

Maintaining and improving an extensive computer network of approximately 800 computers and 2000 users Providing first line telephone and e-mail support. Setting up hardware such as printers, scanners and internal hardware and doing repairs where appropriate. Installing and configuring various software applications including Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP, Microsoft office 2000, 2003 and 2007 and EBS (MIS system). The system originally ran on a Novell/eDirectory infrastructure, but was later migrated to Windows Server 2003/MS Exchange. Setting up and maintaining the college’s Virtual Learning Environment including: creating and administering user accounts, configuring the website, creating, adding and amending courses and file structures and implementing the new system across the college. Training groups of staff and students on both the VLE and Interactive Whiteboards and managing a large, cross-college project.
