Asher Heled is one of Israel's leading experts in the areas of labor law and pension funds and has successfully represented clients in a multitude of cases in these areas before the Supreme Court and the National Labor Court – many of which established new precedents – as well as in arbitrations and mediations. In addition, Asher Heled himself often serves as an arbitrator and mediator.On top of his activity as Of Counsel, Asher Heled has served as a director of several public corporations and served until recently as the Chairman of the Ben-Gurion University's Executive Committee. He is as well a member of the University's Board of Governors. He also serves as a member of the Executive Board and Treasurer of the Israeli Society for Labor Law and Social Security, the Israeli branch of the International Society for Labor and Social Security Law.Asher Heled regularly lectures in professional conferences in Israel and abroad and is a teacher in the Israeli Bar's Advanced Study Institute. Asher Heled served as a member of the Committee on Reform in the Military Reserves, which convened in 2004.Born in Israel in 1948, he founded Asher Heled & Co, in 1978 and has been serving as its Managing Partner until it merged with S. Horowitz & Co. in 2021. He graduated from the Hebrew University Faculty of Law in 1970, clerked in the Civil Law Department of the Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office and has been admitted to the Israeli Bar in 1975.
