I am a chemical engineer with a passion for innovation and sustainability. Graduating in May 2024 with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University, I am now pursuing my master’s in the same field through ASU’s accelerated (4+1) program.Alongside full-time graduate studies, I am also proud to serve our beautiful state as an Environmental Engineer for the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ), where I specialize in air quality permitting. My role allows me to balance regulatory standards with environmental preservation, ensuring that Arizona’s air remains clean for future generations.As a student, I was driven by a passion for knowledge and a desire to make a difference. For my honors thesis I worked on the development of biosensors that could detect acetone in human breath. I was also fortunate enough to spend a summer in Ireland at DCU, working on iron sensors for water testing.I am so grateful for all the mentors who have taught me and for the unique opportunities I have had. I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of environmental science and engineering. I believe that we can create a beautiful future that balances growth and environmental stewardship. I’m eager to continue growing, learning, and making a positive impact.
