As a project engineer, I provide engineering design support to all engineering projects; develop new designs based on functional specification whilst maintaining engineering project records; action requests for engineering specials on Crown lift trucks and maintain engineering documentation revisions and the release of these documents to the business.I additionally provide engineering technical support for automation and emerging technologies offered by Crown. My involvement in automation projects includes solution planning and system definition, design and programming based on customer specifications, managing and support of commissioning activities and performing diagnostic and troubleshooting tasks throughout the project lifecycle.

I am responsible for the design of specials for Crown lift trucks, ensuring compliance to relevant internal and external standards. My work involves evaluating the technical feasibility of integrating systems and attachments onto our products, rendering 3D models and creating engineering drawings, managing BOMs and the release of new kits into Crown’s database. Other responsibilities include prototype work and developing programs for embedded systems.The role also entails project control through project management tasks and the development of supplementary documentation. Will also offer support during commissioning activities.
