Open source full stack application reporting anomalies in the performance of nodes within Kubernetes replica sets- Used Prometheus query language to aggregate Kubernetes cluster data from the metrics exposed by Prometheus to be able to analyze performance anomalies within a replica set- Used Docker to containerize test applications with built-in load testing, allowing for testing of our cluster monitoring tool across many running instances- Used Kubernetes to deploy containerized test applications into clusters in order to create an anomaly detection tool- Used Express to create a RESTful API that compartmentalizes and organizes the middleware used to collect and compare Node performance metrics in order to maintain the accessibility and readability of the codebase and allow easy iteration and scaling

Open Source full stack application using Spotify API to allow users to create, share, and browse album reviews- Implemented React Router to dynamically render React components, creating a clean, straightforward user experience and streamlining the development process for both front and back end by minimizing pages and traffic- Used React to abstract front-end elements into a hierarchy of components, allowing us to create a sophisticated front-end while keeping the code base readable, maintainable, and extensible- Used Express to create a RESTful API that handles multiple endpoints and modularizes the middleware used to authenticate users and arrange their feeds, creating a back end that is both performant and streamlined for iteration- Utilized Webpack to anticipate scaling of the application, bundling the application to preserve load time and implementing hot module loading to keep a streamlined dev workflow while accommodating a growing codebase- Integrated OAuth with Spotify API to authenticate users, creating an intuitive and featureful experience seamlessly integrated into the Spotify ecosystem and offering the full support of Spotify resources to both users and developers- Interfaced with MongoDB database to store user-written reviews to serve user feeds and lay the groundwork for more features, using its open-ended structure to allow for unencumbered, rapid expansion in the early stages of development

Open source full stack application allowing users to locate, pick up, and share listings of surplus food- Interfaced with an ACID-compliant PostgreSQL database to provide security and consistency when persisting important data, such as login information and listings from users, prioritizing the integrity of transactions and user authentication- Used Jest to add isolated backend tests for user authentication and listings, giving developers confidence in the reliability of features of the application as well as improving the clarity of the codebase, creating a solid foundation for further iteration and test driven development- Used React Testing Library to write isolated tests for the rendering of React components, leveraging the opinionated nature of the library to create tests that would give developers working on the project more confidence in the function of front-end components
