CurrentAs an outgrowth of my work at George Mason University, I independently started my own consulting company providing qualitative analysis research support. In this position, I have consulted with doctoral candidates, faculty, non-profit, government, and community organizations from multiple disciplines and research backgrounds throughout the United States and internationally. Qualitative Analysis Research Consultant
I created a university-wide qualitative analysis research consulting service for researchers at George Mason University. I taught over 400 doctoral/master's students, 250 faculty, and 150 community members from multiple disciplines qualitative research methods and NVivo qualitative analysis software. In this position, I customized individual, small group, and classroom training sessions to meet students, faculty, and staff project needs. I developed course materials to teach patrons qualitative methods and how to apply them within NVivo software. I collaborated with faculty and graduate students on current projects for publication including: researching theoretical frameworks, literature reviews, performing data analysis, and write-up. I presented training sessions on NVivo qualitative analysis software in the community, university classes, brown bag lunches, and annual technology fairs. I built and maintained web pages for the George Mason University qualitative analysis service and I created and produced a professional educational video on Using NVivo Software for the University library.
