Finding a home, or even a commercial property, is one of the most important decisions a person can make, and the role of realestate.co.nz is to help them on their journey. I hadthe privilege of telling realestate.co.nz's story across channels that reach Kiwis and property seekers far and wide, and share valueable insights with the New Zealand property market. Each month, I wrote and distributed the New Zealand Property Report, which has become a mainstay in the industry and used by many to analyse and understand market trends. Alongside the wider marketing team, I worked throughout the business to write clear stories that resonated and penetrated, and launched campaigns that engaged Kiwis with New Zealand's best property platform.

I managed a small team at Sharp New Zealand to support the longstanding brand and execute communications, such as campaigns and content. I worked proactively with the Product Managers and sales team to ensure Sharp's innovations are effectively marketed. As part of my role, I also designed and created visual marketing collateral, including video.

I joined the Business Events Sydney team on a short-term basis, helping to promote Sydney as an event destination and support the general marketing mix. My role at BESydney included project management, copy-writing, communications, social media, event support, some design work, and supplier management. I was also the Coordinating Editor of Sydney Shines Magazine.

I joined Savills in May 2015 to support the Commercial Marketing & Press team. I managed relationships between the business and the marketing specialists, managed projects, policed the brand, found marketing solutions for the needs of internal clients and managed the visual identity that each service line held. With project management comes the planning and execution of events, the leading of workshops, attendance at industry events, working with designers and external suppliers, and coordinating campaigns with the Press Office and Research departments, etc.

During my time in the EMEA Cross Border Marketing team at CBRE I supported marketing mix which included project management, event planning and copywriting to name a few. A substantial portion of my time was devoted to promoting CBRE's stellar consumer research for its Blue Chip clients.

My main focus at Rapleys was to draft and approve all marketing material and upkeep the systems of which Rapleys used to advertise their available commercial properties; assemble and design case studies and newsletters; coordinate public relations and press releases; and manage the social media accounts. I planned, managed and completed client assignments to meet clients’ requirements in line with the business' objectives.I worked closely with other members of the team with a view to expanding the business and its client base. These initiatives were both marketing and property related. Within the corporate marketing remit, I attended regular Marketing Board meetings to participate in the growth of the business as a whole. Together we worked to manage the consistency and value of the brand, awareness of the public image and quality of client relations.
