My position as a Senior Superannuation Administrator involved maintaining Super and Pension accounts, the set-up of member accounts and all associated functions and tasks within the operations and administration of a superannuation fund.This directly involved but was not limited to:Extensive experience using Acurity.Daily receipt and allocation of client monies (contributions and rollovers).Processing of in-specie transfers in and transfers out.Processing of new member applications and account openings.Processing of client withdrawals (for members in both Accumulation and Pension phase accounts).Knowledge on the different methods of processing and the different requirements for each type of payment.Full account closures and the calculation of credits and liabilities.Preparation of member account reports.Processing of member account transactions.Internal transfers between member Accumulation to Pension phase accounts (and vice versa). Commencement of different types of Pension accounts.Provided a high level of customer/adviser support.Entering of daily unit prices.Extensive experience within funds of different types/business models.Monitoring of daily cash transactions.Assisting with monthly/quarterly reporting.Provided substantial support to other team members. Assisted in the cross training of colleagues in the different processes and procedures of each of the different funds.Processing Death, Total and Permanent Disability claims in accordance with Trustee determinations.Assisted in project activities and performed ad-hoc duties when requested by Manager, such as assistance with audits and reconciliations. I had significant exposure and imput with Successor Fund Transfers and other major projects.Maintained compliance in all aspects of work interactions by adherence to established procedures, business rules and legislative requirements.
