CurrentMy position as a Claims Consultant involves the below:Assessing and processing Superannuation and IDPS claims, involving permanent incapacity, family law, death, financial hardship, IDPS and investment claims.Reviewing claim forms and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.Working closely with trustees for the determinations.Collaborating with lawyers, advisers and clients in order to provide the best outcomes and avoid disputes.Liaising with claimants, beneficiaries, and external parties to collect necessary information and resolve queries.Managing outstanding documentation and information toensure timely processing of claims.Conducting preliminary investigations and research on claim cases to assist in the claims assessment process.Ensuring accurate claim assessment in line with policy terms and conditions.Gathering and interpreting relevant information to form anappropriate claims strategy.
