As part of a winter study abroad course that introduced major concepts and engineering analyses relevant to small aerospace systems, my team was tasked with this project. I collaborated with other subsystem leaders to make incremental goals and integrate subteam designs, researched and performed mission requirements, CONOPS, and weight and cost analyses..

- Paid peer mentor for five freshmen students in Virtus, the living learning community I participated in as a freshman- Strived to be a positive role model for these new college students - Encouraged them to continue becoming engineers and helped ease their transition into college life- Interacted with each mentee at least once per week to check in on them.

- Collaborated with a team of 8 students to design and build an autonomous over-sand vehicle that navigated to a mission site and tested several characteristics of a water pool and collected a sample- Wrote code for navigation algorithm using Arduino and tested it using an online simulator. I presented the final design report to external reviewers.
