- Collaborated with a team of three other students on three different design projects- Created a detailed concept designs for a buoy launch and recovery ship, crane replacement and integration, and a fleet of environmental monitoring buoys that included CAD modeling, structural, stability, and resistance calculations, weight and cost analysis, user stories, and CONOPS- Researched and interviewed experts to learn more about varying aspects of the ship design process and specific topicsrelevant to each project- Presented final designs to a panel of senior mentors from the Center for Innovation in Ship Design and US Navy

As part of a winter study abroad course that introduced major concepts and engineering analyses relevant to small aerospace systems, my team was tasked with this project. I collaborated with other subsystem leaders to make incremental goals and integrate subteam designs, researched and performed mission requirements, CONOPS, and weight and cost analyses. To showcase our final product my 14-member team presented a 50-page report for a the SAS that achieved the given requirements.

- Paid peer mentor for five freshmen students in Virtus, the living learning community I participated in as a freshman- Strived to be a positive role model for these new college students - Encouraged them to continue becoming engineers and helped ease their transition into college life- Interacted with each mentee at least once per week to check in on them and answer any questions they may have about school, work, clubs, or life in general

- Collaborated with a team of 8 students to design and build an autonomous over-sand vehicle that navigated to a mission site and tested several characteristics of a water pool and collected a sample- Wrote code for navigation algorithm using Arduino and tested it using an online simulator. I presented the final design report to external reviewers- Presented the 34-page final technical design report to external reviewers
