I will be taking up the role of AI Engineer which will comprise working with pretrained and novel models including the latest from major companies. I will spend time creating pipelines to integrate our own models alongside the tools provided by companies in the industry to create products that are AI-first, and reliable at production scale.

I assisted Dr Boyle and her team in obtaining Data from the UK BioBank on varying diseases for her project on finding the relationship between Iron in body organs and the Haemochromatosis brain. This involved accessing data from a remote server using Command line tools. It further involved data analysis using Python and libraries of Python, including NumPy, Pandas, Statsmodels and Seaborn. I read multiple research papers to understand the process of finding data and the aim of the research.I did not have a vast background in professionally accessing and using these tools, but Rob and the team helped me learn, and over the span of two months I was able to absorb the necessary skills to perform the tasks that were expected of me.
