Credit Manager
Current• Responsible for achieving revenues and asset growth by providing appropriate solutions and value-added services to the existing client base.• Ensures budget achievement on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis while evaluating revenue and spreads in order to reach continued profitability• Credit Appraisal in terms of financial statements, financial ratios, and industry for various SME, Commercial and Corporate clients by creating solutions (Working Capital Lines, Mortgage Financing, Project Financing, Import Based Lines (LC Sight, LC DP, Finance against imported merchandise, Letter of Guarantees, Fleet Financing and Financing of Islamic Banking Products.• Monitoring of Portfolio of assets and exercising due diligence, early warning reports, and post-sanctions follow-ups.• Preparing, appraising, and recommending credit proposals to the management credit committee and chief credit officer for approval.• Conduct meetings to get first-hand reviews of the proposals and conduct site meetings and visits for high-value deals • Enhance the return on the Risk Adjusted Assets through obtaining more collateral/cash margins, better pricing on bank assets, fee collection, cross-sell different bank products, and growth in bank liabilities • Assist in monitoring and carrying out portfolio maintenance, by assisting the Regional Business Lines to avoid or minimize having Past Due Annual Reviews (PDAR), expired limits, overstepping, discrepancies, and other credit-related issues affecting the delivery of service to the customers. • Monitor Past Due Annual Reviews, Expired Limits, Overstepping, Discrepancies, and other credit-related issues on a regular basis and coordinate with different departments to streamline the issues and set up strategies to resolve them.• Completion of pre-disbursement formalities after approval in coordination with CAD.• Execution of trade related transactions of asset customers in coordination with Trade.
