Ashfaq comes from a Media background.Having earned a distinctive Masters in Mass Communications, Ashfaq worked as a Producer/Director/Cameraman/Editor for many years.Ashfaq's penchant for law and his urge to serve the community brought him into the legal profession.. Ashfaq went to the University of British Columbia to study Immigration Law in 2008 and successfully completed his program with High Honours in 2009..Having taken his Diploma in Paralegal Studies from Sheridan College of Advanced Studies with High Honours in 2012, Ashfaq became a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and started his career as a Licensed Paralegal in 2012, providing legal services in Ontario.In 2018, Ashfaq went to the Simon Fraser University in British Columbia to do his Master's degree in Applied Legal Studies and successfully completed it in April 2020.
