As a Language Consultant, I've developed the art of being able to delve into clients' communication problems and craft solutions. My approach is rooted in cross-disciplinary thinking, supported by years of relevant experience in human resources, recruitment, international development work and customer service. Some of the services I provide include:• Proofreading, text revision & editing• Producing creative copy• Writing• English language communication training• English lessons (conversational, business, travel)For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a love for languages, travel, culture and people. This passion led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in international development, international relations and Hispanic languages. It’s also the reason I’ve traveled to over 25 countries, spent 4 years working in West Africa, and accumulated more than 3 years in human resources and 8 years in customer service roles, both internationally and in Canada.I always yearned for a way to combine all of my passions into one purposeful role. I identified one common feature underlying travel, languages, culture and people: human connection. I combined the knowledge and skills from my diverse professional experience with my passion for the English language and my unwavering commitment to helping people – and I created my own consulting business, Peak Fluency. My clients range from neurologists to geopolitical analysts to business professionals but they all have one thing in common: no matter where they are in the world, they have a task that requires effective communication. Whether it’s course development, speech preparation, proofreading or language lessons, I’m eager to help. One of the greatest compliments I’ve received from a client was, “You make my life so much easier.” There are 3 things you should know about me:1. I put my client at the centre of all that I do. Adaptability and personalization underscore all of my work.2. My independence and resourcefulness are some of my greatest strengths. Without them, I wouldn’t have been able to successfully take on such a diversity of roles or start my own business from the ground up.3. My ability to work under pressure (which has grown through my love for the philosophy of stoicism), allows me to take the pressure off of my clients, most of whom lead busy lives and are seeking efficient solutions to their problems.I’m always happy to connect with other professionals on LinkedIn!Medium: www.medium.com@peakfluencyTwitter: @peakfluency_
