During the internship, I worked on four different tasks, each focusing on a specific aspect of software engineering.In the very first task, I implemented a novel version of a heap, which is an advanced data structure used to efficiently store and retrieve data. This likely involved understanding the fundamental concepts of heap data structures and implementing my own version of it using the programming language Java.In the second task, I focused on software architecture and designed a system that satisfied complex business requirements. This would have required me to understand the business requirements in detail and use my knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles to create a system that met those requirements.In the third task, I designed a relational database to satisfy a complex collection of requirements. This would have involved understanding the requirements for data storage and retrieval, selecting an appropriate database management system, and designing a schema that organized the data in an efficient and scalable manner.In the fourth and final task, I populated a database with a large quantity of data in disparate formats. This would have involved understanding the various data sources, extracting the relevant data, and transforming it into a format that could be loaded into the database. This process is known as data munging or data wrangling and is a critical step in any data-driven project.
