Funded by the FCDO's Girls’ Education Challenge, People in Need (PIN) Nepal is implementing a five years project,- Accelerating life skills, literacy and numeracy of married adolescent girls.” The project seeks to reach out and work with married, out-of- school adolescent girls in in Bara and Rautahat districts of province 2. My responsibility includes conducting baseline, and endline each year for the next five years. The evaluation for this project is based on quasi-experimental approach, with stepped-wedge randomized trial that involves sequential crossover of groups from control to intervention conditions.Sample: Girls: 800 (Treatment and Control); Household: 800 (Treatment and Control)Quantitative tools: Household and Girls Survey , EGRA and EGMA testsQualitative tools: FGDs, KIIs, Case stories

The main objective of the project was to provide vulnerable children with the opportunity to access quality education and safe learning environment which was initiated by World Vision International Nepal (WVIN) based on the Government of Nepal’s ‘Build Back Better’ approach to reconstruct schools and institutionalize the Comprehensive School Safety Framework. My responsibility included carrying out quantitative as well as qualitative data collection with the objective to establish the endline values on the indicators, especially of project goal and outcomes and compare with the baseline result and to provide endline information regarding safe learning environment and early grade reading.Study Area: SindhuliSample: All grade 3 students from 20 schoolsTools: Household survey, FGD, KII, Case stories and observations

A midline evaluation of the Sponsorship program implemented by Save the Children using CASP module since 2013 which s focused on the different areas of education emphasized by the government, namely, Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD), Basic Education (BE), School Health and Nutrition (SHN) and Adolescent Development (AD) through an integrated approach. My responsibility included conducting the midline evaluation of the project based on retrospective recall and reconstructing the data for the baseline. It also included, conducting FGDs and KIIs with different stakeholders to evaluate the degree to which the program’s intended purpose and outcome was achieved in Saptari and assess the unintended impacts.Study area: SaptariQualitative Tools: FGD, KII, Case stories and observationsQuantitative tool: Retrospective recall

Involved in designing questionnaire for household survey, data collection and data analysis of Integrated Programme for Strengthening Security and Justice (IP-SSJ) which contributed to improving rule of law in Nepal, supporting communities to feel safer and have access to better quality security and justice services, particularly for traditionally excluded and marginalized groups.

An annual survey that tries to capture the public perceptions of Nepalis that can be disaggregated below provincial government. The survey assess perceptions of change, challenges, performance and expectations of sub-national government.

The objective of the study was to conduct household surveys to to understand the determinants, and consequences of migration particularly from a gender perspective and establish linkages between migration of family members and changes in women’s empowerment in the household and in the broader agricultural sector.

The objective of the study is to measure poverty on individual level within a household and examine various dimensions of poverty apart from household income and expenditure.

Sajhedari Bikaas - USAID-funded project primarily aimed at empowering communities to direct their own development. My responsibility included asset in designing qualitative and quantitative tool, assist in conducting quantitative survey, conducting qualitative data collection including KII and FGD, asset in data analysis and report writing.

Worked as an interpreter during a research in Nepal for Master Level at International Development Studies, Roskilde University ,Denmark. Interview with radio Lumbini and local women in the community of Soiya, South Nepal. Interviews with both the experts from radio Lumbini and interviews with poor and marginalized women.
