•During the tenure as head of Haldia Refinery Could create a record and an history in the Indian downstream sector by successfully completing and commissioning of Once Through Hydrocracker Project within a record time of 39 months and 28 days from the date of Investment approval. Further commissioning of 1.7 MMTPA OHCU could be achieved within a record time of only 57 days from the date of mechanical completion.•In 2009-10 Further Haldia Refinery capacity could be increased to 7.5 MMTPA through 1.5 MMTPA capacity expansion of Crude Distillation Unit-II of Haldia Refinery which could be safely and smoothly completed and commissioned. Posseses a wide Project management experience in Refining sector.–During the tenure as Executive Director(Exploration & Production)in IOCLfor one year period could become Successful in bidding for exploration blocks in Libya through bid rounds IV : 2 prospective areas awarded in favour of Sonatrach- IOC-OIL consortium From July 2003 to Feb., 2007, was heading the Corporate Planning & Economic Studies Department of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., a global fortune 500 company. Steered the long term plan of Indian Oil Corporation with detailed strategies and business plan to be a large energy major by 2022.From 1st July 2000 to 30th June 2003 – Worked as Managing Director of Indian Oil Panipat Power Consortium Limited – a joint venture of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd and Marubeni Corporation, Japan, for development of a Refinery residue (Raw Pet Coke) based independent power project through environment friendly integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) technology.Prior to that during almost 23 years(1976-1998) was actively involved in Oil Refinery Captive Power Plant Operation and Maintenance activities , Electrical design engineering, Procurement & Execution activities for various expansion /revamping projects of IOCL`s Oil Refineries and also as DGM(Technical) heading Refinery and P&U Operations and Materials department.
