About Ashima Kaul
I have more than twenty five years of experience in developing peacebuilding leadership & policy, dialogue groups and humanitarian interventions in fragile ecosystems. Having led multiple stakeholder projects/ programs, i have the expertise to conceptualize, design and develop youth/ women led policy intervention and grassroots networks. In 2010 I founded Yakjah Reconciliation and Development Network, a platform for building transformative approaches to intractable conflicts and relationships. For my work i was awarded 100 Women Achiever Award by the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India. I am a Women Peacemakers Fellow by Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice, University of San Diego, US. I was also selected as one of the six women for women's writing residency " Women Authoring Change' in Whidbey Island, Washington State, USA. I am India Correspondent for Peace Insights, a web portal by Peace Direct, UK. I tweet @yakjite
