HELLO There!I'm an aspiring visual designer/illustrator with special interest in concept art, character design and environment design. The gaming industry -more specifically RIOT games- was my primary source inspiration with its character design and world building and I love connecting and sharing my passion with people who are interested with developing visual design and graphic narrative. EDUCATION ~ I am a first class honours graduate of Illustration and Visual Media from University of Arts London - which has been an amazing experience to develop my artistic style and professional understand of various specialist equipments. These range from traditional printing techniques such as hard ground etching, woodcut and mono printing to developing my knowledge in adobe suite programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Animate. These skills have been valuable towards my decisions and has directed me to focus on my future career as a concept Artist. KEY SKILLS ~The skills I have mastered in my studies include effective character design, environment design, 3D Modelling and animation. I hope to apply these in my future creative positions and build on them to become a great Artist. I have the ability to create characters whilst simultaneously keep their design focused on a core narrative, which has been noted by my tutors and has taken me to create multiple graphic narratives dedicated towards children of various ages. EXPERIENCES ~I work as a Visitor Services Assistant in FACT Liverpool - allowing me to maintain a creative mindset through engaging conversations with the public in regards to the gallery shows and installation works. Within my time in FACT, I have worked with various departments:- Suggesting a social media takeover which boosted social media engagement by 90%.- Supported the delivery of FACT's Learning Family Programme by assisting on the presentation and facilitation of artistic projects and outcomes.- Assisted HR with updating trustee and employment packs - using my creative skills to visually update the information pack. Additionally, I work as a freelance Artist to which I work on commissions and client projects. This experience is unique as it has been a major benefit towards my profession and personal growth as an independent creative. I have learned the importance of clear communication, effective time management, handling important information and maintaining a motivated mindset by having a balanced lifestyle.
