I have four years of graphic design education. I began in high school by taking three years of a Scottsdale Community College credited Graphic Design course, which I took for two periods during my senior year. I also have one year of Graphic Design courses at ASU. While I did not continue my design education after my first year at ASU, I have continued to do freelance design work and am constantly learning new skills and improving my ability. Once I finish my degree at ASU, I intend on taking classes on my own time to further my graphic design knowledge and ability.I am proficient in using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, with Illustrator being my favorite. I have experience using CS 2 through 5.5. After my first year I changed my major to Business Management. It is my goal to be able to own my own business someday and I believe that a Business Management degree will help me achieve that. I have been making and designing beaded jewelry since my grandma taught me when I was in 6th grade. Initially I created traditional Native American style necklaces using a bead loom, and have since expanded to working with crystals, gemstones, glass, and metals, as well as various stitching techniques. I am hoping to further expand my skills to include metalworking once I graduate. My goal is to have my own business selling my jewelry. I opened my store on Etsy (Any Design Jewelry) in January of 2015, and it is my ultimate goal to have a brick-and-mortar store.I am currently going to Scottsdale Community College for Commercial Baking and Pastry Arts.
