A distinguished career span of more than 26 years, serving the Indian Army in various capacities and roles across locations. Out of all the varied roles carried out, I believe and choose to expand on my HR experience and expertise. I was heading the overall recruitment and selection process for the states of Haryana and HP and Union territory of Chandigarh as Army Regional Recruitment Officer. Here, I was responsible for meeting the recruitment requirements of the Indian Army which involved managing the recruitment cycle from recruitment planning, advertisements, checking of documentation. Prior to this, I was deputed at 512 Army Base Workshop as Colonel – HR and Administration and entrusted with the end-to-end HR and administrative responsibilities for the 500+ civilian staff. The profile comprised of recruitment, employee engagement and retention, PMS (Performance Management System), grievance handling, training & development, compliances and administrative/facility management. Some of my key achievements here were setting up of a robust employee conflict resolution process to handle employee grievances, labor issues, discontent and other types of grievances, implementation of multiple employee engagement activities to enhance the employee morale and productivity, development of multiple skill-development programs for the shop floor in coordination with the Operations Department.I was deployed by the UN to Lebanon as an Assistant Force Officer (Humanitarian & HR) to aid in execution of all UN social responsibilities in parallel with their peace keeping operations in the region. The earlier period of my tenure was served as Instructor at the Military College of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Commanding Officer, Assistant Commanding Officer and undergoing military training on organizational structure and behavior at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.

Deployed to Lebanon by the United Nations for the execution of all UN social responsibilities in parallel with their peace keeping operations in the region.Engaged in various HR related activities in alignment with the UN guidelines and regulations.
