Senior Staff Technical Lead Manager - Iii-V Development

- Technical lead on JDSU’s Innovation Council program, designed and developed low-loss waveguide technologies and material platforms for InP-based PICs. Led the technology transfer of low-loss waveguides and integration platform from R&D into Lumentum’s next-generation InP-based PIC products.- Designed and developed PICs with widely tunable semiconductor lasers and integrated optical filters with narrow-linewidth and high SMSR for Lumentum’s coherent communications products.

- Technical lead on a joint collaboration between UCSB and the University of Massachusetts (Dartmouth) as part of the DARPA-funded PHOR-FRONT program.
