Worked in a project called IVS(Intelligent Video Survaillance) team as developer. My primary role was to create an customized app which goes into the embedded linux box to monitor the hard disk. 1.Developed a customized app for monitoring hard disk.• This was done using S.M.A.R.T (Self Analyzing and Reporting Tool) a linux based disk monitoring tool. I was involved in developing a lightweight binary of the tool to suite the project. 2. Ported a Windows based DVD write library to Linux object library.• Had to keep track of Windows MFCs, writing equivalent Linux shared objects.Systematic approach to convert the library module by module.Recieved MindTree's "Shining Star" award for the project involved.
