I lead 4 engineering (DevOps) teams that run the AWS service responsible for enabling Cross Domain needs of customers (typically Government agencies that need to move data between different security domains). The teams comprise of over 40 (and growing!) individuals including Software Development Managers (SDMs), Software Development Engineers (SDE's) and System Development Engineers (SysDE's). I influence engineering culture by hiring, developing and retaining the best and by implementing long term improvements to organizational structure. In addition, I continuously strive to improve operational efficiencies of the service and in collaboration with other leaders, drive the future state architecture and strategy of the service so that we can best serve our customers and their mission critical workloads.

• Help deliver technical program management (TPM) resourcing strategies to support critical functions across large and complex Infrastructures. • Mentor, hire, support and develop Individual Contributor (IC) TPM’s by helping strengthen technical, leadership by influence and program management skill sets.• Leading, planning and developing programs for platforms and tools used by AI/ML engineers to help Authoring, Training & Debugging, Pipeline Management, Model and Feature Management, Deployment and Serving of machine learning models. • Building strong partnerships and consensus among multiple Engineering and Product leaders on strategy and execution of multi-year initiatives.• Responsible for leading, from strategy to execution, cross functional programs aimed at improving Platform Efficiencies by developing, consolidating and architecting sustainable infrastructure platforms. • Lead, set up and execute Program Structures, Reporting, Communication mechanisms and Roadmaps for a number of parallel, large and complex efforts.• Driving and developing long-term Roadmaps for multiple infrastructure services, including helping increasing adoption, coverage, consolidation, privacy and measurement frameworks.

• Responsible for performance, supervision and career management of multiple teams with a total team size of more than 50 individuals spread across multiple locations across the globe.• Led and Collaborated with internal and external business partners for the development of several new digital solutions that are used by over 30 million members and enhance the member experience including membership, digital payments, auto renew, event management, volunteer and foundations.• Manage a large portfolio of projects with Opex and Capex Budgets of $ 15 MM. Lead, manage and develop suppliers and supplier contracts, including managed services, staff augmentation with onshore and offshore delivery models. • Led Solutions Delivery, Development, Operations and Support of mission critical Applications running on multiple stacks running in on-premise, private and public cloud environments.• Helping lead transition from a project to a product centric ITS organization with a sharp focus towards alignment with corporate strategy, improved business outcomes and cost optimization.• Create governance, management and decision making frameworks used for evaluating lift and shift, re-platforming and re-hosting decisions for migration of on-premise workloads to the AWS cloud. • Responsible for leading the cloud transformational journey for multiple teams including management of Organizational, Processes, Platforms and Tools Impact. • Responsible for Re-Architecture and Migration of on-premise Applications to AWS using services such as RDS, Lambda, EC2, ELB’s, Cloudwatch and Cloudtrail. • Deployed CI\CD pipelines, test automation and rigorous governance across multiple Application stacks to reduce cycle times.• Lead the Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) with over 10 SME’s, including Salesforce Architects, Developers, Configuration Specialist, Business analysts and Devops specialists. COE managed AARP’s Salesforce Community cloud, Sales and Marketing cloud.

• Responsible for mentoring multiple teams of Software Engineers, Architects and Program Managers. Hire, retain and develop top tier talent.• Manage Host’s relationships with multiple vendors, Brands (Marriott, Starwood, Hyatt etc.) and IT leaders throughout the industry. Develop Extranet and Collaboration Architectures with Business Partners and Vendors. Lead vendor selection, RFP’s and technology outsourcing activities for multi-million dollar initiatives.• Serve as an Information Strategist and long-range IT planner for Host. Formulate and manage the cloud, mobile and content management strategy. Collaborated with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) on a redefinition of the IT Strategy.• Led Cloud transformation of On-Premise applications to various cloud environments, including Iaas, Paas and Saas at Azure, Workday and Office 365.• Leadership and Program Management of several Business Transformation Initiatives using ERP (PeopleSoft), BPM, Collaboration (Office 365) and e-Signature (DocuSign) platforms, ultimately leading to significant cost savings. • Responsible for internal and external SOX audits of several financial applications.• Led the redesign of www.hosthotels.com on a .NET and Sitecore based CMS platform. • Conceived, architected and led development (using agile and SCRUM methodologies) of the first-ever opportunity and transaction management product, also called “Pipeline”. Pipeline is engineered in SharePoint, KnockoutJS, ASP.NET, IIS and Sql Server 2015. Pipeline increased Acquisitions and Dispositions business process efficiency by centralizing data, improving business intelligence, standardizing workflows, and increasing the efficiency of acquisitions and dispositions. Collaborated with Host’s Chief Investment Officer to design the system, which now manages transactions and opportunities evaluated annually by Host.

• As the first hire of the Software Development team, built a team of 10 staff members from scratch, including architects, software developers and project managers.• Rolled out Salesforce.com for managing Sales Pipeline for the Company. • Rollout out several Integrations of cloud based COTS Enterprise Applications (such as salesforce.com, WorkDay) with on-premise applications such as SharePoint 2010 and SAP.• Managed the Drug Safety IT Organization, responsible for drug safety reporting to the FDA and EMA for 10 Phase I, II, III and IV clinical trials conducted globally at 100+ sites.• Helped rollout several 21 CFR Part 11 compliant systems, including Document Management Systems, eTMF, CRM and CTMS in the cloud and on-premise.• Managed a team of 10 full-time and contract staff, including architects, software developers and project managers.• Architected and led the development of the Xeno Transplantation Product.
