In this respect, the client has chosen an Early Contractor Involvement scheme with a Design & Build Contract, meaning that QDVC is involved in the project since Day one with the client and develops the concept along with their needs.The Project consists of: 4 tramways operating lines;10 underground stations + 26 at grade stations;10.4 km underground +22.7 km at-grade and elevated;1 viaduct +one interchange station over Al Khor Highway;1 depot for maintenance, storage operation facility,67 tramway vehiclesSafety: Ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the H&S Plan the Environmental Plan. The WMS and relevant HSE legislation. Attend safety meetings as required by QHSE Management. Stop the works when there is an immediate hazard to the safety of the workers. Encourage the work force to work safely and demonstrate good safety behaviour. Advise construction management and site supervision on safety issues. Communicate with work force on HSE issues. Advise construction management and site supervision on safety issues. Bring to the attention of the HSE Engineer instances where, after giving notice the production team fails to rectify an unsafe situation.
