A chemistry graduate from Mumbai University, Ashish had distinctive liking for Art, which instigated him to do his post-graduate certification in Applied Art. Ashish started his career with Silvertoons (A division of Silverline Industries Ltd.).He started as a Technical person handling teams of Camera Scene-planning and 2D effects for the very first full-length Indian animation film HANUMAN. Later he implemented efficient use of macro and micro level processes to do bigger job-works for reputed domestic and overseas projects.At Technical position in Future Thought Productions, Ashish handled teams of Compositing, 3D Rendering, Web, New media and Post-production. He delicately analyzed changes and deviations of various processes affecting the production deliveries and thereby brought about statistical optimizations. He believed in importance of time which was cost, methodical planning of any project, stern execution and unbiased tracking of same, to get the desired outcome for his various stakeholders.Ashish build teams, capacities, strategic structures, policies and production pipelines for companies like Silverline Animation Technologies Ltd. (later listed in BSE) and Quintessential Studios Pvt. Ltd.At QSPL he was a co-founder; the company was one of its kind which specialized in core Pre-production services for Live action, Animation, Gaming, Publication & Digital New media. Ashish was instrumental in building Clientele, Partnerships, Synergies, Vendor management and Executing Projects to ensure revenue and profit. He took a complete turn by moving into a new industry of Stereo-conversion with giants in the business like Deluxe (Digicaptions India Ltd.), Pune unit and later with Gener8 Media Corp. (a Prime Focus/ DNeg Company) handling PAN India process. In this tenure at Prime Focus, his team supported RPM work by in-sourcing it from core DNeg VFX.Ashish's interesting last stint was with Cosmos Maya where he headed end to end 2D & 3D International strategy, planning and delivery for all their intellectual, co-pro and client service properties. In this tenure Ashish led the companies deliverables exponentially by laying some critical production processes, practices and policies.Currently he is enjoying his role with Redefine (a DNeg company) the stalwart in VFX business and is driving Shot production. In this capacity Ashish ensures value add in driving processes and eradicating hurdles in delivery.
