Key Result Areas: • Perform complete Erection, Commissioninig, maintenance, repair and overhaul of steam turbine (Make: Dresser Rand), auxiliary turbines and related equipment, including governors, pressure relays, bearings, couplings, control valves, over speed tripping mechanisms, turbine diaphragms, condenser, ejectors cooling tower.and related equipment. • Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions and in coordination with the Maintenance Supervisor, outline a repair strategy for major projects.• Study customer requirements in terms of technical upgrades of existing equipments. • Generate customer enquiry, submit proposals/tenders for technical upgrade/retrofit jobs. • Study bad actor equipments, do analysis, prepare technical reports and provide technical services to customers on chargeable basis. • Ensure customer expectations are met as per engineering standards. • Provide technical help and training to Technicians and Fitters. • Coordinate with internal & external customers effectively. • Extensively travel for domestic jobs and overseas technical service work on a continuous basis as required. • Prepare comprehensive reports for the work performed at site. • Ensure works are completed as per customer requests on time and in most economical ways. • Develop / Adopt new techniques & procedures. • Establish safe and proper work area. Respect & follow all the safety requirements. • Self-starter, performs hands on in the field, lead the team from front, believe in the team work. • Analyzing the limitations & root cause for process shortfall and implementing Corrective actions and Preventive action for desired output • Developing a List of materials which are required for maintenance process Project Handled • Drive turbines @ M/s BPCL Kochin, M/s CPCL Chennai, M/s BORL Bina and M/s GGSRL Bhatinda.
