My name is Ashish Narayan and I am a second year Finance and Economics major at the Fisher College of Business at the Ohio State University. Over the last year, I have fully immersed myself in learning more about the finance industry through involvement in various business student organizations at Ohio State. In these organizations I strive to take on a leadership role, not only to develop competencies for my own professional development, but also to help empower others in the organization and represent their interests. Additionally, one of my favorite experiences in my OSU experience is my participation in Ohio State's investment banking case competition. In this competition, my team and I are diving head first into learning new valuation techniques and are also learning to manage division of team responsibilities and roles. I believe this ability to develop new skills quickly and also work effectively in teams and honor my commitments will make me a great asset to an organization as an intern and/or future employee. I am currently looking for a summer internship within the finance field to continue to grow my knowledge and gain hands on exposure to the industry as a whole!
