Shift Supervisor
Current Demonstrates leadership and interpersonal skills. Co-operation with the panel operators will monitor, control and optimize the process throughout in order to achieve required quality/ quantity standards and efficiencies. Initiates and leads troubleshooting activities with regards to recognizes and identifies major/minor process changes that impact unit performance, participates in planning and rectifying problem areas, participates in gathering appropriate resources to rectify problems, provides expertise and guidance in troubleshooting. Supervision of the Operations shift personnel, providing direction and leadership in achieving operational goals and objectives in support of facility objectives and key strategies. Maintain environmental compliance in accordance with environmental licenses and legislation and report all environmental deviations to the Operations Manager. Coordinating Maintenance activities for the shift including preparation of equipment Review and assist in the development of operating procedures for normal operation, start-up or shut-down of unit with Facility guidelines and standards. Ensure on shift emergency readiness and assume the responsibility of Emergency Response Coordinator in the operating area if required. Demonstrate ability to deal effectively with process upset/ crisis situations. Coaching and mentoring of the shift personnel including appraisals Handle Emergency Management, Abnormal Situation Management, Operations Support and the Training. Participates in HAZOPS, Risk Assessments, Factory Acceptation Test and Site Acceptation Test” for DCS etc. Participate in safety audits and programs and provide emergency response when required. Facilitate Shift scheduling and operator vacation approval.
