As Spatial Data Engineer my daily operations includes analysis, designing, programming , building , debugging, tools modification and delivering technology solutions for solving complex geospatial problems and/or the delivery of spatial data products in the domain of CDS (from data ingestion to delivery to customers). Also it includes make use of Python programming language , SQL ( Oracle ) and other propriety technologies to writes codes and performing testing/debugging of applications used for spatial data analysis, spatial data/content operations, release preparation, testing/certification and delivery of content (NDS) products to customers, completes documentation and procedures for implementation and maintenance. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • manipulation of HERE and Partner data with the help of (GIS) programming tools and data management methodologies (modelling, scripts, queries et. Al.) to solve for complex customer spatial data problems. • Maintain current toolbox in the evolving environment • Document SOP's for current methodologies Supports execution of multi persons projects by sharing expertise and product knowledge with peers

1)Responsible for the Go/No decision for Data-Products submitted for one of the validation procedures/gates.2)Validation of correctness & functionality of data base extracts like GDF, RDF, SIF, NavStreets & additional content like 3D imagery before shipment to customers & compilation of end userproducts .3)Global execution of Database Containment checks, evaluation of the output and follow up with the Database Engineers.4)Execution of extensive acceptance test programs on navigation test benches( VOLVO SPA Programs) & report on the results to car manufacturers also confirming the content and functionality of production master candidates.5)Developing and execution of integration test programs on navigation test benches & report on the results. Integration testing involves in depth analysis of how the HERE database performs & is represented in navigation systems. 6)Follow up on issues detected using the target system, the compiled data and the HERE database is required.7)Attendance in fix agreement meetings & providing technical support to the release management department. 8)Engage with internal and external stakeholders for requirements, change requests and incidents.9)Bug fixing, technical improvements and repeatable automated tests for existing product.10)Defining & improving Testing infrastructure ,test specifications, Implementation of test cases, Execution of tests, Analyzing of test results & reporting of test results.11)Pro-actively diagnose, isolate and implementing changes to improve software quality.Part of an agile team, share knowledge, code reviews, pro-active communication.

My position is responsible for providing "expert" execution and support in one or more of the following general account abilities to assist Global Production management to develop and improve production competencies in all of Global Production Centres. My position is enriched in varied amount of geo-coding in the database depending on specific project assignment.Project Administration*Determine the optimal project work area assignments for the team to ensure that the project is completed on time.*Monitor and track team members on production completion status and estimate time to completion (ETC).*Assist the Project Leader to develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and project tracking/reporting.Production*Translate project requirements into a set of production processes to effectively execute production work.*Helps in developing advanced production tools & processes to improve production efficiency and effectiveness.*Participate and provide inputs to prototype processes to ensure robustness of the production processes.Training*Assess training needs of the project team or the Global Production Site.*Utilize departmental training materials and/or develop training material according to requirement.*Conduct technical new, refresher, enhancement, and specification training to Global Production Centers.Quality*Work with Quality and Operations Engineering to identify and assess project or product quality risks.*Lead the verification of the QIL design process.*Analysis of error trends and assist in the root cause analysis and corrective action development. *Assist project leaders in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.*Actively participate in the ICE process and Database release containment actions.

1) Responsible for planning and executing Production plans related to creating, updating or modifying HERE digital map databases/map related content. 2) Provides coordination and technical guidance to Project Leaders and Production teams.3) Involvement in direct analysis and providing solutions to complex problems that occur within projects.3) Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and project tracking/reporting using Bearing Tool to meet quality, cost, delivery and speed targets.4) Responsible for handling project life cycle through all phases with intermediate knowledge in quality management, risk management and delivery management.4) Experience with MS SQL in the areas of Data Analysis, Quality Assurance and Crystal Reports.5) End to End solution design for major projects involving System integration.6) Ownership of Off-shore projects and monitoring proper delivery from off-shore end & responsibility of interactions,calls and updates with regards to solution.
