As a Bridge Design Engineer with over 4 years of experience, I have been involved in both Preliminary and Detailed Design of Substructure, Foundations (Open and Pile Foundations), and Superstructures (PSC I-Girders, RCC T-Girders, Solid Slabs, RCC Box) of River Bridges and Underpasses. My expertise extends to detailed calculation for safe bearing capacity for shallow and deep foundations, hydrologic calculations for river bridges, preparation of BOQ and cost estimates of structures, and inventory of structures.In my projects, I have been responsible for a range of design tasks including designing substructure for railway pier with portal type circular shaft and pile foundation by pile modelling and soil-pile interaction, designing of 25m and 40m PSC Girder, designing of 3-Span continuous girder system with cross girder supported on bearing and bearing placed on pile cap, design of elastomeric bearing, design of RCC box culvert and RCC box bridge, design of precast RCC I-Beam and RCC deck slab, design of LHS-RCC BOX for Railway Loadings, design of U-Trough Retaining Wall, design of RCC-Drain, design of RCC I-Beam in 50m radius curve, design of open foundation, design of gap slab, approach slab, crash barrier and friction slab, design of RCC Cantilever Retaining Wall (using IRC 6 & IRC 112), preparation of bearing schedule and design of elastomeric bearing.I take pride in my ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders to ensure that all design work is completed on time and to the highest quality.
