Recruited to nurture a concept in incubation. Transformed the concept into a real product, Streaming Data and Analytics Platform (SDP). SDP is a modern analytics platform that allows ingestion, storage, and analytics of real-time and historical data. It provides a plug-in architecture to support real-time analytics engines such as Apache Flink, Spark, and many more. SDP uses Kubernetes as the orchestration layer, and many communities developed open-source components such as Pravega, Flink etc. Pravega is an open-source home-grown streaming storage at Dell, which is now under CNCF. It provides a new storage abstraction—stream. A Pravega stream is a durable, elastic, append-only, unbounded sequence of bytes with good performance and strong consistency.Key Accomplishments:• Received Chairman's award from Michael Dell.• Directing a large team of engineers, spanning USA, Canada, India, China, Spain, and Russia.• Co-developing product strategy and roadmap with high-profile customers, system integrators, product management and executives, and setting the technical direction for the product.• Championing as a change agent transforming larger group from traditional software development models to agile allowing quarterly software releases.
