OVERVIEW:As a product designer at Funding Societies, I was responsible for designing the web version of the mobile app which had already been designed. The product itself falls under the Fintech industry and the company wanted to create a super app in the Fintech space. It includes multiple financial and payment features like Business cards (Debit/Credit), Payables, International Payment, Receivables, Financing, Accounts, Credit Line, and many more. The MVP version of the application was already designed so I worked with the design team to convert the mobile app to a web app version (Including all responsive sizes).DONE WORK IN MORE DETAIL:- Designed the web version of the application which was already designed for mobile (MVP was already there, I had to start from there) collaborating with the product design team.- Designed Credit Line feature collaborating with PM and the dev teams- Designed Payable feature mobile app (using native components) and web app (including all screen sizes)- Used the previous design system and contributed to adding new components and refining the existing design system which was published in the storybook by the dev team.- Contributed to revamping and improving the overall design process and file organization- Conducted UAT session and design audit- Conducted design critique sessions with product design team(weekly) and 1:1 sessions as well (With UX Designer / PM / Engineers)- Learned many new things related to the fintech industry.Though I was working mostly on the designing screens for app, I was also involved in many kick-off meetings, UAT sessions, Testing and feedback sessions, and other collaborative events with cross functional team.
