Deputed at Marelli Japan (Former-Calsonic Kansei)Responsible for complete CPM packaging DR, CTR and Assist side areas:• Benchmarking of competitors vehicles and released vehicles.• Planning drawing section creation of DR, CTR and AS side• Preparation of Master Section Design concept sheets Fit and Finish documents.• Review Manufacturing and assembly issues (DFA and DFM).• Homologation and head-impact zone creation as per FMVSS 201/ ECE R21.• Digital data creation, review, quality check and release• Analyze Class A surface data and work iteratively with studio designers to instil engineering and manufacturing feasibility.• Layout study of LPDP parts, electric units, HVAC unit, STRG column, Passenger Airbag, Knee Airbag, etc.• CPM styling feedback of DR, CTR and Assist areas• Meter-NAVI unit layout and visibility as well as reflection study.• Tooling feasibility study and countermeasure proposal for tooling issues• Project Documentation, Periodical status reviews & gathering Supplier feedback.• A detailed evaluation of product designs concerning manufacturability and quality.• Conducting and Participation in CPM packaging Design review meetings with the team and cross-functional departments.• Project coordination with global cross-functional teams and counterparts in other departments and suppliers to facilitate and meet project time plans.

Responsible for Layout and packaging of CPM:• Style feasibility review, layout and packaging study• Benchmarking for style change proposals and establishing best design practices.• Homologation and head-impact zone creation as per FMVSS 201/ ECE R21.• CPM styling feedback of DR, CTR and Assist areas• Meter-NAVI unit layout and visibility as well as reflection study.• Styling analysis and generation of design concepts• Preparation of Master Section Design concept sheets Fit and Finish documents.• Review Manufacturing and assembly issues (DFA and DFM).• Digital data creation, review, quality check and release• Creating 3D data and 2D drawing creation of CPM parts.• Proposal Data Note, Part Data note and Assembly data note creation.• Tooling feasibility study and countermeasure proposal for tooling issues• Project Documentation, Periodical status reviews & gathering Supplier feedback.• A detailed evaluation of product designs concerning manufacturability and quality.

Working with Interior Instrument Panel (Dashboards) and door trim department • Defining the scope of projects and feasibility study• Study of styling surface, draft analysis and parting line for molding feasibility.• A surface feasibility check and create B-side Surface & attachment features for Trim components.• Checking the Part tooling & manufacturing Feasibility. • Interference and clearance study for the components designed with complete door trim, fender, dashboard cover• Creating 3D data and 2D drawing of Instrument panel and door trims part.• Parts Work on:Dashboard parts like Meter hood, Covers of various function on Dashboard.Door trims parts like Upper and Door Centre Substrate, pocket back, Armrest, etc.• Preparation of Master Section Design concept sheets Fit and Finish documents.• Review Manufacturing and assembly issues (DFA and DFM).• Digital data creation, review, quality check and release• Study parts fitment and validate correct fit, gather results and feedback to the team. • Managing the assembly and component database in Teamcenter.• Solving the problems like assembly feasibility, gap and flush issues, undercuts and fixations • Design & Develop new concepts proposals for part modification • Preparation of design reviews documents and assembly instructions.• Understand the feasibility of the component from tooling & quality point of view & proposing the changes required for easy manufacturing.
