2016 - 2019: Led google-internal and google cloud structured storage teams including BigTable, Spanner, Datastore, Firestore, Census, Kansas (previously). Team launched external cloud products including Cloud Spanner, Cloud Firestore, and Open Census, and continued to grow and improve Cloud Bigtable and Cloud Datastore.2015 - 2016: Led hardware and software engineering teams for Google OnHub (http://google.com/onhub), Google WiFi (http://google.com/wifi) and Accelerator (https://www.youtube.com/yt/accelerator/).2011 - 2015: Led engineering team for Dynamic Display Ads on both Doubleclick (http://goo.gl/esu2u) and Adwords (http://goo.gl/4Xs3u). Also responsible for the shared serving infrastructure for all of display ads, Privacy engineering, and Ads for Domains efforts.2008 - 2011: Led and managed a world wide team of 150+ engineers responsible for developer tools at Google. We build our systems at never-seen-before scale and our goals are to get our tools simpler, faster and reliable.

Responsible for directing and managing the company’s award winning flagship products AgitarOne Agitator and AgitarOne Test Generator. Conceived, Designed and Developed TaskMail 1.0, which adds collaborative and transactional capabilities to standard Email – including the ability to link Email to Enterprise Applications. Filed for 3 technology patents. Brought on senior management team, and developed the business plan along with the team. Presented the plan to several VCs and Customers and acquired initial customers for the TaskMail hosted service.

Started in the SMCC/IR team, and then joined SunTest (part of the Sun Labs) as Senior Staff Engineer. Implemented, led and managed the JavaLoad product team. Moved to the iPlanet team and as Director Software Engineering managed the iPlanet Application Server engineering team. Hired and grew an 80+ application server engineering team in India (Bangalore) and staffed up a web server development and operations team there. Managed the worldwide SunONE Application Server 7 engineering team and successfully delivered the product (now popular as the Glassfish server) in November 2002.
