My work expertise and interest involve studying and evaluating the impact of policy guidelines and contractual requirements from Government and Commercial Payers on maximizing financial health of Medical Groups. I am leveraging this knowledge to provide strategic guidance to practice managers, credentialing and billing teams on revenue cycle issues, and utilizing my project management skills to improve business processes for better contractual compliance. Areas of Expertise:* Multi-stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and external entities such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Payers to identify and successfully increase reimbursements through implementing new policy guidelines, resolving contractual disputes, and addressing credentialing discrepancies.* Design and Implementation of Financial Dashboards: Design and develop financial dashboards following Value Based Payments methodology for primary care practice transformation of providers and practices. * Training and Development: Taught concepts in biostatistics and econometric statistical programming to 30 students per semester for four semesters at Weill Cornell Medicine, and conducted multiple workshops at NYP on diverse topics such as Medicare and Medicaid credentialing requirements and telehealth reimbursement policies.
