I work on different aspects in web application development life cycle. Mostly creating back-end functionality for new applications, upgrading existing applications. Troubleshooting and debugging front-end and backend web application bugs and issues. Working on multiple project simultaneously. We use Concrete 5 as our CMS and Laravel 3 & 4 framework for most of the applications. PHP5, MVC, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, jQuery UI, ajax, javascript, JSON, 3rd Pary APIs are some of the technologies I use to accomplish my day to day tasks at work.

My role involves 80% web-based application and tool development, management of a portion of database, research better technology options and come up with good architecture & design for new tools, preparing web based reporting UI and dashboards. It involves about 20% Handling and understanding business logic to create forms and apps to reduce communication and co-ordination gaps involved in the project and change Management Process. The work environment is dynamic and the working methodology we adopt is Agile. Once a web app is developed it requires frequent updating of the features which is maintained using mercurial SVN. The technologies and methodologies that are used almost daily are PHP5, MVC, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, jQuery UI, ajax, javascript, JSON, google Visualization APIs and google Maps. We have our custom MVC framework and I also used Symfony2.0 in some projects.
