1. Accounting-Finalising of accounts under fully computerized environment (i.e. Balance Sheet, P&L etc) for wheel division. -Sales Accounting of Foil & Wheel business at Corporate & Regional level.-Constantly reviewing debtor's receivables, inventory, work-in-progress etc to ensure control over working capital.2.Direct & Indirect Taxation:-Deduction & payment all applicable taxes.-Monthly Reconciliation of all tax liabilities.-Filling of Sales Tax & Excise return at Regional office.3.Budgeting-Preparation of Annual Plans for Revenues, Expenses and Capital Expenditure broken up into monthly/business activity.-Product Pricing.-Designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures thus facilitating internal control.-Liaison with MIS Group for preparation of Budget on Sales, Revenues, Contributions, Profitability.4.Management Information system-Analysis & reporting of competitor's movements to management.Product/Business analysis, providing the Board/ Top Management, detailed analysis on Business Plans, which includes variance analysis, YTD & key performance indicators.Providing continuous feedback to the Plant by actively participating in monthly planning meetings. Using the corporate MIS infrastructure generated MIS reports for both Foil and Wheel division.5.Other Responsibilities Preparing cost audit reports and annexure.To deal with Statutory, Internal & Management Auditors was responsible for getting Branch's Accounts audited.6. Achievements-Introduced Channel financing scheme for Foil division, which led to reduction in over dues from customer by 15 days-Team Member for AR module implementation of Foil & Wheel business in the year 2004 when Hindalco introduced ERP (Oracle 8(i)).-Introduced cash management services for Wheel division, which led to clearing of outstation cheques within 3 days. Budgeting, monitoring project accounts of Wheel division.-Leading capitalization of Wheel Plant.
