About Ashita Gona
My educational and professional career has focused on the niche intersection of climate change/clean energy, communications and research. Through these experiences, including at RMI, Climate Nexus, the White House and as a contributor to an Al Gore book, I've developed into a knowledgeable and skilled storyteller in the clean energy space. I completed a M.S. degree in Energy Policy and Climate from Johns Hopkins University to supplement these skills with a strong knowledge base in climate change science, clean energy technologies, and impactful climate change policies. With my expertise in clean energy policy and communications, I hope to increase the utilization of common sense environmental solutions, including electrification of appliances and buildings, development of renewable energy, and utilization of sustainable waste management systems.
