Creating, maintaining and densifying primary control network to provide all aspects of dimensional control for the project.Carrying out engineering surveys, topographic scopes and laser scanning.Assisting the principal contractor and designers with complex survey solutions to help resolve short term and long term build-ability issues often at short notice and in difficult environments.Developing, testing, commissioning and overseeing complex and highly accurate survey solutions for monitoring. Particular speciality is troubleshooting all aspects of escalator and lift installation. Calculating modifications, providing reassurance that items will fit when brought to site and investigating why they may not. This can be carried out at short notice or as part of the planned construction phase and more often than not can result in significant cost savings for the client.Deploying and actively pushing for greater use of HDS/Laser Scanning within the Construction Industry. Exploring the boundaries of what is achievable and deliverable with a laser scanner. Attempting to increase the integration of Laser Scanning Data into the construction workflow for Clash Detection, Quality Assurance and Strategic Planning. Successful projects have seen lift shafts, escalator pits, complex stainless steel façades and newly erected steel framed structures scanned and modelled ready for import into TEKLA Structures and 4D Models.
