During my student placement, I collaborated on external customer projects aimed at investigating components and understand why parts were not fulfilling their duties and how to prevent/pro-long polymer degradation as a solution for customers with the aid of statistically analysis in some cases. My main research projects consisted of analysing reclaimed rubber fillers and utilising the reclaimed products as a filler once more to examine how properties may have differed to the virgin product. My notable achievements included: ➢ Being acknowledged for consistent performance, receiving sponsorship by ARTIS and being offered a project to pursue as part of the final year project at Loughborough University➢ Obtaining a qualification for short course approved by IOM3 onsite and being offered a full-time job by ARTIS after graduation
